Privacy Policy

THE LAST CLICK L.P., Greece, is responsible for DADLINE: Family Rush. The game stores progress on your device and uses online services for accounts, cloud saves, purchases and leaderboards. Optional rewarded ads use Google AdMob. This policy explains the data involved and your choices.

Your account and progress

You can start playing without registering or signing in. When online, the app creates an anonymous account with a game-specific identifier and keeps its session credentials in the iPhone keychain. “Anonymous” means you do not need to provide your identity to start; your saved activity is still linked to that account.

We store gameplay data including the names you give Dad and family members, selected characters, moods, errands, badges, inventory, run results and progression. Some settings stay on your device. Our backend stores supported cloud-save fields, coin balances and transactions, and run-validation records such as scores, duration, checkpoints and app build. The server verifies purchases and competitive results; it is not simply a duplicate of your local save.

Sign in with Apple is optional. If you use it, Apple provides an app-specific account identifier and may provide your email address, including a private relay address if you choose Hide My Email. We receive authentication information needed to link the account and request revocation when you delete it, but not your Apple password or payment credentials. Linking helps maintain access to your account; an unlinked anonymous account may not be recoverable on a new device.

Leaderboards

Leaderboard entries can display Dad's name, your device's country/region setting, rank, score, delivery count and an aggregate family-mood score. Your email, account credentials and individual family members' names are not shown. Choose a nickname if you do not want a real name displayed. Leaving a name blank is not a guaranteed opt-out and does not erase a previously saved name.

The game's leaderboard country comes from the device's region setting, not GPS. Cloudflare helps deliver leaderboard results. Results are personalized to respect your blocked-player list and are not stored in a shared leaderboard cache. Account and network information is processed as needed to authenticate requests, deliver the service and prevent abuse.

We check public names for inappropriate content. If you report a player, we store your account identifier, the reported player's identifier, their current public name, the reason you select, and the time and outcome of the report. Our team uses these records to review reports and take action. Reports are not public and are not used for advertising or tracking.

If you block a player, we store the relationship between your account and that player so they remain hidden from your weekly and all-time leaderboards. You can unblock them in Player Safety → Blocked Players. Reporting and blocking are separate actions. Contact hello@playdadline.com for support or to appeal a moderation decision.

Purchases

Apple handles payment for the optional coin pack. We do not receive your card number or billing details. We process the Apple transaction and product identifiers, purchase time, purchase or refund status, verification information and the game account associated with the purchase. These records let us credit coins, prevent duplicate credits and handle refunds.

Rewarded ads and consent

Watching a rewarded ad is optional. Google AdMob may prepare ads in the background after the consent system permits ad requests, even if you do not choose to watch one.

Google's advertising and consent SDKs can process device or app identifiers, IP addresses and approximate location inferred from them, ad impressions and interactions, app interactions, crash reports, performance information and other diagnostics. These support ad delivery and measurement, analytics, fraud prevention and consent management. Some advertising data is associated with a device or app identifier. We do not pass your family names, saved progress, purchase records or Apple sign-in email to AdMob.

The iOS app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or access to the IDFA advertising identifier. This does not mean that the ad SDK collects no data: app- or developer-scoped identifiers and the data listed above may still be processed. See Google's information about data use and Google's advertising partners.

Google's consent platform checks which choices apply to your region, including the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Ad requests wait until that platform permits them. Where offered, open Dad's profile → Settings → Ad Privacy Options to review or change your choices. Consent choices do not prevent you from playing the core game.

Service providers and data sharing

We use Supabase for accounts, saved progress and purchase verification, Cloudflare for service delivery, Apple for sign-in and purchases, and Google and its advertising partners for ads and consent. These services process the information needed for their respective functions. We do not sell your game-account data or provide your family profile to advertisers.

Our game database is hosted in Ireland. This is not a promise that all processing stays in the EU: our providers operate internationally and may process network, support or advertising data in other countries under their applicable data-protection arrangements. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your request.

Diagnostics and device permissions

We keep service and security records to diagnose failures, validate activity and prevent abuse. They can include account identifiers, request times, error or security events and network information processed by our hosting providers. The app does not use a separate Unity Analytics or Unity Cloud Diagnostics service, but Google's SDKs process analytics and diagnostic data as described above.

The game does not request access to your contacts, precise GPS location, microphone, camera or health data. Family calls and messages are fictional gameplay events; the game does not read your real phone calls, SMS or email messages.

Your choices and deletion

To delete your game account and saved data, open Home → Dad's portrait → Settings, scroll to Your Data, choose Delete My Data and confirm. An internet connection is required to complete the server-side deletion.

This removes the account and its associated cloud profile, coin ledger, purchase-verification records, runs, leaderboard entries and associated report and block records, and clears the app's local profile and session. For Apple-linked accounts, the service also attempts to revoke the stored Sign in with Apple authorization. Deleting the app alone does not request deletion of the server account. Account deletion does not refund a purchase or delete records held independently by Apple or Google.

For help, access, correction or deletion requests, email hello@playdadline.com. We may need enough information to locate your account and verify the request. Never send your password or payment-card details.

Retention and your rights

We keep account and gameplay records while providing the account and until they are deleted through the process above. Report records remain for moderation while the associated accounts exist; there is currently no automatic time-based deletion of resolved reports. Block records remain until you unblock the player or an associated account is deleted. Security events may remain with their player identifier removed. Copies in provider backups or logs can remain for the provider's retention period; information needed to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute may be retained for that purpose. Advertising data is subject to Google's and its partners' retention practices.

Where the GDPR applies, we process data needed to provide the game and requested online features to perform our contract with you, rely on legitimate interests for service security and abuse prevention, and obtain consent where required for advertising-related processing. Legal obligations may also require some processing.

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We respond within the time required by applicable law, normally one month. You may complain to your local supervisory authority, including the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Children

DADLINE is about family life and is not directed at children under 13. Do not enter real children's details when naming game characters. If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where required.

Website and support

If you separately join the website's launch waitlist, we store the email address you submit, its signup source and date to send the launch information you requested. This is separate from your game account. You can withdraw that request by contacting us. Support emails contain the information you choose to send and are used to respond to your request. Website hosting providers also process network information needed to deliver and secure the site.

Changes and contact

We update the date above when this policy changes and provide additional notice or seek consent when required for a material change.
